The All Blacks’ playmaker sets a new record first day back.
It’s been a tough stretch for the world of rugby during the lockdown period in New Zealand. All of their players have been away from the game for quite some time now, but with a new revised Super Rugby competition on the horizon, the franchises got back to their training this week.
The Blues, who have been coming up short in recent seasons, have recruited the services of All Blacks playmaker Beauden Barrett, and the 28-year-old made a notable impression his first day back, breaking the previous record in the Bronco fitness test, putting in a time of 4 minutes and 12 seconds.
