Most Insane Water-Slide In South Africa? [Video]
The impressive Loop-the-Loop slide in the Eastern Cape has to take the crown for the most desirable slide to ride in the country.
Let’s be honest, water parks are havens of fun that are lacking across South Africa. There are a few blotted throughout the country, but the major cities are missing out on the majority of the action; but if you were to venture to find the best water park slide in SA, where should you go?
Well, Wild Waves in the Eastern Cape is not a bad place to start.
Located at the Wild Coast Sun Resort and Casino (just a kilometre outside the KZN border), the park features on of the country’s most epic slides: the the Loop-the-Loop.
The slide drops the rider almost a 90-degree angle before taking them around a massive inverted turn, then catching some serious speed before sliding to the finish.
South African Brian Ortner filmed his experience on the slide using his GoPro camera. The video has since racked up over 1,8 million views.
