Super Rugby’s expansion to 18 teams from 2016 is officially complete with Sanzar formally confirming the participation of the Japan Rugby Football Union and Union Argentina de Rugby at an executive committee meeting in London last week.
That said, there’s some mixed opinions regarding the soon-to-be expanded tournament, and one YouTuber has put together a great video infographic breaking down how the new tournament’s structure will have a negative effect on the quality of rugby.
