Dumb and Dumber 2 shooting soon
Looks as if Dumb and Dumber sequel is on the way.
A sequel to the 1994 Jim Carrey-Jeff Daniels comedy classic — with the original stars — appears to be in development, although it has not been officially greenlit.
Rumors of idiot pals Harry and Lloyd’s return to the big screen (not counting faux 2003 prequel Dumb and Dumberer) have been swirling for some time, but over the weekend co-director Peter Farrelly revealed that a sequel might finally happen.
“We’re getting set to shoot ‘Dumb and Dumber 2′ in September,” ComingSoon.net quotes him as saying during a press junket for The Three Stooges. “It’s the first sequel we’ve ever done, and we’ve got Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels back.”
While Farrelly’s comments were posted on April Fools’ Day, it does appear as though Dumb and Dumber 2 could finally be in development after nearly two decades.
