This year’s Call of Duty entry has been revealed, confirming that it will in fact be a Black Ops game set during the Cold War.
Developed by Treyarch and Raven Software, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will act as the direct sequel to the original Black Ops, and will drop fans into the depths of the Cold War’s volatile geopolitical battle of the early 1980s. In a gripping single-player campaign, players will descend into the dark centre of a global conspiracy alongside iconic characters Woods, Mason, and Hudson, along with a new cast of operatives to stop a plot decades in the making.
Beyond the campaign, Black Ops Cold War will deliver the next generation of Multiplayer and Zombies experiences, beginning with the Worldwide Multiplayer Reveal on September 9.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War arrives on 13 November 2020 for Xbox Series X, PS5, Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
