Inside Look: Asus Showcases Exciting New Products Coming in 2026
Getting a closer-look at what Asus has in store for tech-lovers and gamers in 2026.
Asus is kicking off 2026 with a bang when it comes to new products. After a Consumer Electronics Show (CES) held on February 25th at Green Point’s The Venue, tech nerds of all types can enjoy exploring the new Zenbooks, Zenbook DUO and the new ProArt GoPro edition laptop designed in collaboration with GoPro.
The event kicked off with a welcome speech, and was followed by brief updates from computer core manufacturer Intel, and software giant Microsoft regarding Windows and their AI Copilot. The Intel spokesperson discussed their new process node 18A, which makes up the Core Ultra Series 3, which boasts greater performance and efficiency, as well as improved graphics performance. These new core processors will form part of Asus laptops going forward.
The Microsoft spokesperson discussed how their Windows AI, Copilot, has been improved – it is no longer just an app, but has now been integrated into Windows software. This allows Copilot to assist you with daily basic tasks, such as summarising online articles and paragraphs, making use of predictive AI to generate documents that you can edit, and incorporating Copilot into their popular Windows 365 Office software. Copilot has also been programmed to speak in 40+ different languages, which allows you to even practice speaking a new language.
Having mentioned this earlier, I’ll start off with the new ProArt GoPro edition laptop. Asus’ ProArt range of laptops is catered towards the creatives, those who work with digital art, photography and videography. The ProArt GoPro edition was designed with GoPro users in mind, providing access to a 12-month GoPro Premium+ subscription, as well as the ability to store GoPro accessories and cameras in the laptop case. Speaking of the case, it is a notably light hard-case, which makes for easy transport and keeps the laptop safe while on the move. The laptop itself is lightweight and comfortable to hold, and has a 13” display with a 360˚ convertible design. The touchpad also has an integrated creative wheel to utilise shortcuts and improve your workflow.

The next laptop available for the creatives is the 2026 Zenbook DUO. What makes the DUO so great is its innovative dual screen, allowing you to work on two screens at the same time. It comes with a detachable keyboard, which has a strong magnetic base, allowing it to snap into place on the bottom screen and function as a standard laptop, even closing as a standard laptop would. The screens are also touchscreens, allowing you to make use of digital pens, and the screens intuitively adjust to whether you have positioned them in landscape or portrait mode.

Next up are the ROG Strix G16 and G18 gaming laptops. Asus’ ROG brand is designed for those who enjoy gaming and value strong graphics and CPU performance in order to handle the pressure many games can put on any kind of laptop or desktop. The G16 and 18 (which refer to the sizes of the display) are both relatively lightweight, but are on the heavier side as expected with gaming laptops. The touchpads are large, and do not come with the built in mouse buttons, but double tapping on it anywhere functions as the mouse selector. The keyboard also creates a satisfyingly soft mechanical tapping sound when you type on it.
Lastly, we have the new Asus Zenbook A16 and A14. These laptops are designed for those who work in professional environments, as well as those who work from home. Both are made from ceraluminum, a mix of ceramic and aluminium, which prevents the laptop from easily getting scratched and damaged. Both laptops are lightweight and compact, with the A16 being slightly bigger than the A14 due to their respective display sizes of 16” and 14”.

All of the above-mentioned laptops make use of the Windows 11 operating system, which means they have access to Microsoft’s Copilot AI system both on the laptop and in Microsoft 365. Of the above, only the Zenbook DUO has an Intel Core processor, which is the new Core Ultra Series 3. Pricing of the new laptops is as of yet unavailable, but updates can be found on the official Asus website.
Asus’ CES show at this point in the year is proof that not only is Asus bringing new ideas to their products now, but they are also constantly striving to improve both the hardware and software of their products, which means that as the year progresses, we can only expect newer and better products from them.
