Nothing quite says a Johannesburg night-on-the-town as a thumping nightclub filled with excessive testosterone. Of course, you may have to also slap some sense into a china scoping out your cherry for too long, which can be an exhausting and unhealthy activity. So, thankfully, we now have Boetfighter to fill that void.
Being developed by local studio Robot Wizard (who released the 2D click-and-point adventure title Jengo earlier this year), Boetfighter is a tongue-in-cheek beat-’em-up inspired by the Joburg-boytjie culture which we all love to hate.
“Boet Fighter is a mega-schweet faaghting video game where Hard Eddy and his taaghtest charnas must moer all of Fourways in the face, as they faaght to reclaim his stolen binnet!” explains the game’s official description. “It’s got creatine, vaalence and house beats, boet… and it’s coming soon!”
There aren’t any specific platform or release date details for Boetfighter, but you can keep up to date on the game via the official Facebook page.
