The big stop of the Sevens World Series, Hong Kong, took place over the weekend, and it was an incredible tournament full of some fantastic sevens rugby.
While the Blitzbokke didn’t fair too well in the tournament, the standout performers were undoubtedly sevens specialists Fiji.
The islanders showed that they’re back to their very best and had a brilliant final against Wales, who also have to be acknowledged for their valiant performance.
Fiji managed to win the final 26-19, putting them into second place (88 points) in the Series standings, placing them under New Zealand (113 points).
