Mayweather vs McGregor Fight Confirmed to be Televised on SuperSport

The big “Money Fight” will be on SA televisions!

It’s official – the highly-anticipated boxing match between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor will be aired on SuperSport on 27 August 2017.

The blockbuster event, which is being billed as the biggest event in combat sports history, will be live on DSTV’s SuperSport 2 and Maximo 1 at 3:00 (CAT) for the undercard fight, with the main bout expected to follow at around 5:00.

While the fight will be available to DSTV premium subscribers, viewing in the US are expected to pay $99.95 (around R1,300) in order to view the fight.

Non-DStv customers will be able to watch the fight via on-demand service Showmax later in the day.

Highlights of the fight will also be available on DStv’s Catch Up service in the hours after the event. Catch Up Plus, available on connected Exploras, will carry the full fight later in the day.
