The Mission Impossible franchise has come a long way in the last couple of years, moving from a cult-beloved spy-contender to the James Bond series, now into one of the biggest action franchises in the world. The sixth instalment, Mission Impossible: Fallout was a great entry, and the team has been hard at work on the follow-up, which we now have a first look at.
The very first trailer for Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning – Part 1 has been released, confirming that this next arc of the MI franchise will arrive in two parts, arriving in 2023 and 2024 respectively.
Not too much is known about the plot, but we can confirm that the sequel features Tom Cruise on a motorbike, Tom Cruise running, and Tom Cruise fighting people — so the cool stuff you really want to see in a Mission Impossible movie.
The film once again stars Tom Cruise, Ving Rhames, Henry Czerny, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, and Frederick Schmidt; along with a handful of newcomers: Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff, Shea Whigham, Esai Morales, Rob Delaney, Charles Parnell, Indira Varma, Mark Gatiss, and Cary Elwes.
Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning arrives in theatres in June 2023. Check out the trailer below:
