Steven Kitshoff & Malcolm Marx Launch Own Beer Brand, Bomb Squad Lager
Two Boks band together to create a new beer for the people.

Springbok front-rowers Steven Kitshoff and Malcolm Marx have launched a new beer company, Bomb Squad Beer, bringing a dedicated lager to the South African beer market.
The two players, who became known for their involvement with the “Bomb Squad” to help inject some life into the late stages of a game, banded together once again to conjure up the company’s identity and beer.
“First of all, we love a second half,” explains Kitshoff and Marx. “We took extra time and created Bomb Squad Lager for all our beer-loving teammates out there.”

The beer itself, which is brewed at Amandalia Farm in Roberston, Western Cape, is described as “smooth and crisp with a light body” with “a mild bitterness that lingers in the mouth, but never weighs you down.”
Bomb Squad Lager is available on CyberCellar, with a case of 24 priced at R840 and a 12-pack at R444. Availability is limited.
