Puma has unveiled the latest iteration of the Future 1.4 silo, introducing the ‘Fastest’ colourpack, which includes some updates to the look and fit of the boot.
The Future 1.4 features the second-generation Fuzionfit+ technology which adapts to the shape of your foot to give you the perfect balance of support and flexibility in each of the key zones, ensuring optimal fit and performance, with or without laces.
The adaptive compression technology further adjusts to the contours of each foot. Paired with a lightweight Nano Grip sockliner insole, the technology minimises foot slippage inside the boot, allowing you to maintain power transfer for explosive multi-directional movements.
The Fuzionfit+ knit utilises a specific mix of polyester and spandex yarns, with special technical yarns to create a better balance of compression, comfort and durability for that second-skin feeling.
The boots also feature Advanced Creator Zones that are engineered to enhance ball grip and provide softness in the forefoot, which is key for optimal control and touch when dribbling, passing and finishing. The mesh material in the forefoot provides a thinner layer between foot and ball for added touch sensitivity, while also having some grippy textures that help you to manipulate the ball.
A feature retained from the previous model is the Dynamic Motion System outsole designed for optimal traction. The super lightweight PEBA tooling system, with its eye-catching soleplate reduces weight and provides a solid base to accelerate and move in all directions.
The Puma Future 1.4 Fastest Edition will be worn by Neymar Jr., Ingrid Engen, James Maddison and Fridolina Rolfö, as well as SA stars Themba Zwane, Teboho Mokoena, Ethan Brooks, Keegan Buchanan and Sibisiso Mabiliso.
The Puma Future 1.4 Unisex Fastest edition is priced at R3,699 and will be available in September 2022 at Puma Retail, from Puma online, Totalsports and at leading football retailers nationwide.
