Nokia’s new high-end Lumia model, the Lumia 930, is now available in South Africa, with contract pricing starting at R399 per month and an RRP of R7,999 on pre-paid.
Unveiled at Microsoft’s Build 2014 conference earlier this year, the Lumia 930 runs on the Windows Phone 8.1 OS and features an aluminium frame, polycarbonate back and sculpted glass, along with a 20-megapixel PureView camera with ZEISS optics and optical image stabilisation (OIS).
Powered by a 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor, the Lumia 930 captures and plays back high-quality audio in Dolby Surround Sound. The 5-inch Gorilla Glass 3, full HD OLED screen also provides display clarity both indoors and out.
The handset contains a 2,420 mAh battery that will last more than a day, even while shooting with the camera. The 930 also comes with built-in wireless charging, which can be used with Nokia’s existing wireless charger range.
