Camera-Mounted Nerf Gun Should Be On Your Christmas Wishlist

I don’t care how old you are – this Nerf gun will undoubtedly be the best thing you could ask for this holiday season.

The Nerf N-Strike Elite Nerf Cam ECS-12 Blaster (yeah, it’s as epic as it sounds) is a Nerf blaster with a built-in camera, which features the ability to film and record video and photos – up to 100 minutes of video or 2,000 photos thanks to the 4GB memory card.

The camera-ready Nerf blaster was designed with social media in mind, said Michael Ritchie, head of the Nerf franchise at Hasboro.

“The Nerf fan base is technologically savvy and socially active so making products that fit their lifestyle is key,” he told Mashable. “The Nerf brand actively engages ‘Nerf Nation,’ a collection of fan bloggers and massive social community, via Facebook, Youtube, and Instagram.”

In terms of its shooting capabilities,the clip holds 12 foam darts and can fireprojectiles as far as 26 metres.  The Nerf blaster costs $79.99 (around R896.28) is available for purchase online and at various retailers.
