He-Man Emerges in the Live-Action ‘Masters of the Universe’ Trailer
Watch the first trailer for the long-awaited He-Man movie.
Like Transformers and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, one of the most iconic cartoons in the 80s and 90s was that of Masters of the Universe. We got a Masters of the Universe movie back in the 80s, but MGM Studios has decided its time for another shot at the sci-fi-sword fantasy story.
The film is being directed by Travis Knight, who did the Transformers prequel, Bumblebee. Nicholas Galitzine stars as Prince Adam / He-Man, who returns to his home planet Eternia to save it from the evil forces of Skeletor, played by Jared Leto. Camila Mendes, Alison Brie, James Purefoy, Morena Baccarin, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson, Charlotte Riley, and Idris Elba also star.
