Adidas has introduced a pretty interesting new release, the Climacool, a shoe that shakes up the conventional design norms.

Created through additive manufacturing and engineered entirely through 3D printing, the shoe is a testament to the German brand’s relentless pursuit of innovation, representing a significant leap in material innovation, design and comfort.

Looking like a mix between a slip-on and a sneaker, the unique lattice structure is designed to mould seamlessly around the foot, offering 360-degree airflow that makes it feel as though the shoe is almost non-existent. Accented with distinctive ghost stripes on the lateral, the shoe delivers new levels of comfort and a truly distinctive look.

The Climacool comes unisex shape that was created from insights from testing on men and women. This approach offers an adaptable fit whilst providing optimal support with features like integrated heel pillows and arch support.

Adidas explains the Climacool as “sleek and futuristic, a shoe like no other, unlocks new possibilities in form and function, with every little detail being obsessed over, from the touch, the feel, to the ghost stripes on the lateral for the finishing touch.”

Climacool is available for R2,799 online at Adidas.co.za, Adidas flagship stores and Shelflife.
