WATCH: Highlanders Winger Embarrasses Crusaders with Try-Saver of the Season

There’s no denying that the Crusaders deserve the trophy of the Super Rugby Aotearoa competition, but in their breathtaking game against the Highlanders this past weekend, it was the opposition winger, Josh McKay who stole the show.

Despite enduring a seemingly-undefendable onslaught by the Crusaders, 22-year-old speedster hunted down Crusaders scrumhalf Bryn Hall to pull off a spectacular try-saver right on the tryline.

It was impressive speed considering where McKay came from; and should also go down as one of the worst butchered tries of all time.
