Gio Aplon Orchestrates Grenoble Wonder-Try in Top 14 [Video]
The South African stepper still delivers the goods.
Pint-sized Springbok fullback Gio Aplon may have missed out on his chance to play in the 2015 Rugby World Cup in September last year, but the former Stormers flyer is making the most of his chances with his French club Grenoble in the Top 14.
Playing against Oyonnax, Aplon showed his trademark sidestep and speed to cut through the defensive, before linking up brilliantly with his teammate flanker Alexander, before getting a last-gasp offload to former Sharks scrumhalf Charl McLeod to score in the corner.
