Habana saves the Stormers with charge-down

Springbok and Stormers winger Bryan Habana helped his side stay in front of the Hurricanes by charging down an important conversion by Hurricanes flyhalf Beauden Barrett.

The Stormers managed to edge through with an 18-16 scoreline, proving Habana’s perseverance to chase down the kick to be vital.

Both sides managed to score two tries each, with Gio Aplon and Michael Rhodes grabbing 5-pointers for the Stormers, and Andre Taylor and Super Rugby debutant Matt Proctor bagging themselves tries for the Hurricanes.
