Southpaw: Jake Gyllenhaal’s Boxing Movie Gets Its First Trailer
A beefed-up Jake Gyllenhaal stars in Antoine Fuqua’s boxing drama, Southpaw. Here’s the first trailer…
The first trailer for boxing drama Southpaw, starring Jake Gyllenhaal, has landed, and its clear that there’s a lot more to this movie than a one-two punch.
Gyllenhaal made a striking transformation in Training Day director Antoine Fuqua’s forthcoming film; as Billy Hope. Gyllenhaal trained hard to become a convincing-looking professional fighter.
Alongside Gyllenhaal, Rachel McAdams, Forest Whitaker and Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson are among the supporting cast. The trailer below looks as though it gives away a fair bit of the story, so bear that in mind before going in.
Southpaw’s out in July.
