Alan Ritchson’s New Action Thriller is the Must-Watch Release of the Week
A revenge-laden action thriller awaits South African audiences this week.
Alan Ritchson has been on a roll lately, and after his action-packed Netflix hit, War Machine, the Reacher star is now taking the lead in this high-octane revenge thriller, Motor City.
We love a good revenge thriller, and this one just oozes vengeance-fueled action in abundance. Set in 1970s Detroit, the story of Motor City follows John Miller (Ritchson), whose life is destroyed after he is framed and sent to prison by a local gangster. Upon his release, he embarks on a relentless quest for revenge against the man who took everything from him. The film also stars Shailene Woodley (Divergent) and Ben McKenzie (Gotham), and looks to be an absolute ripper.
In addition to the stellar cast, some of the other highlights of Motor City include the fact that the film relies heavily on practical action sequences to tell its story, along with a banging rock soundtrack, which was brought to life thanks to Detroit’s own Jack White.
Motor City exclusively hits South African cinemas nationwide on 24 July. Check out the trailer below:
