Oppo has launched the Oppo Pad SE, a reliable and versatile tablet designed to meet the needs of both families at home and creators on the go.

With a 9,340mAh battery and a slim 7.39mm body, the Oppo Pad SE is built for all-day streaming, learning, and productivity in any environment, while its Anti-Reflective Matte Display and Personalised Kids Mode make the Oppo Pad SE a tablet safe for the whole family to share. All of this is supported by tools like Google Gemini, O+ Connect, and AI Assistant for Notes, making it easy to stay connected, productive, and inspired wherever life takes you.

Immersive entertainment for all ages

For those who rely on a tablet for work and entertainment, the Oppo Pad SE offers extended battery life and fast charging to help power through an entire workday. Its class-leading 9,340mAh battery delivers up to 11 hours of continuous video playback or 80 hours of continuous music playback, while 33W Supervooc allows users to quickly get back to enjoying their favourite content without long interruptions.

The Oppo Pad SE also features Smart Power Saving Mode, which automatically powers off the device after 7 days of inactivity. The device can retain enough charge to power on instantly, even after 800 days of idle time. Built for long-term performance, the tablet has also passed 36-month fluency testing, ensuring a smooth experience for years to come.

Visual comfort is second-to-none on the Oppo Pad SE thanks to an 11-inch Immersive Eye-Care LCD Display with up to 500 nits brightness, guaranteeing sharper and more vivid visuals even in bright environments. In a first for its price range, the Anti-Reflective Matte Display uses nano-level etching to eliminate 97% of all light interference, offering a paper-like, eye-friendly experience for reading and writing. It’s also TÜV Rheinland-certified for Reflection Free, Paper Like Display, Low Blue Light, and Flicker-Free standards.

A safer digital space for kids

The Oppo Pad SE includes a built-in Kids Mode that allows parents to manage screen time and app access easily. This feature is accessible directly from the home screen, making creating a focused, child-friendly digital environment simple.

Enhanced Productivity with AI

Through integration with Google’s Gemini AI model, the Oppo Pad SE provides an intelligent assistant capable of natural conversations, idea generation, and real-time translation across apps like Gmail, YouTube, and Maps. With Oppo’s AI Assistant for Notes and AI Intelligent Document, users can efficiently organise and polish content on the go.

Designed for seamless connectivity

Cross-device connectivity is smooth and intuitive on the Oppo Pad SE. With O+ Connect, users can easily share photos, videos, and files with other devices. Communication Sharing allows the Oppo Pad SE to use the phone’s mobile network and GPS and automatically connect to the internet through a paired phone without manual setup when the devices are near each other. This saves time and reduces power consumption on the phone while improving location accuracy on the tablet.

Users can also stay synced with Screen Mirroring, which enables phone notifications to be displayed directly on the tablet with full-screen app support. The drag-and-drop feature simplifies moving files between devices, making it ideal for editing phone-captured content on the tablet’s larger screen.

Pricing and Availability

The Oppo Pad SE will be available from 1 July 2025. It is priced at R5,999 and comes in the stylish Twilight Blue colour.
