Super Rugby final highlights – Chiefs vs Brumbies

The Chiefs managed to seal their second Super Rugby title on Saturday, 3 August, after defeating the Brumbies 27-22 in Hamilton, but it was a close and spirited effort by the Australians.

The Brumbies were always in the game, and at some points looked to have the upper-hand throughout the match. The Chiefs were able to keep their defence strong and hold out the Brumbies’ attack on a number of occasions, giving them the breathing room to seal the deal.

Liam Messam was incredibly impressive, and the All Black flanker was awarded Man-of-the-match for his efforts.
