Luke Morahan – individual try of the year?

The Reds encountered the Lions in Brisbane last week, and while the Queenslanders fell 12-22 to the Northern Hemisphere super stars, Reds fullback Luke Morahan scored arguably one of the best individual tries of the year.

The Reds, under the debut captaincy of Quade Cooper, put up a great fight against the Lions, with Nick Frisby joining Morahan on the try-scorers list, while the Lions saw Ben Youngs cross over.

It was Owen Farrell’s accurate goal-kicking that made the difference, giving the visitors a 22-12 win over the home side.

Luke Morahan’s swerving and blistering run is sure to be recognised as one of the tries of 2013.
