Sure, it says Elton Jantjies on the score sheet, but this one was all Burger Odendaal!
The second round of South Africa’s Super Rugby Unlocked tournament saw the Lions heading to Cape Town to take on the Stormers, and the match did provide some great moments from both sides.
The Lions’ new centre recruit Burger Odendaal was named Man of the Match for a strong performance, which saw him set up a try for Elton Jantjies in the second-half.
After throwing a dummy which sent him through the defensive line, Odendaal used another dummy to mislead a second defender, before stepping inside Damian Willemse. With three defenders beaten, it was just a simple offlload to Elton Jantjies which put him under the posts.
