OK, so maybe there’s no actual magic at play here, but there’s no denying that what was showcased in the game between Tasman and Southland this past weekend was spectacular.
After Tasman put a kick through for winger Macca Springer, it looked like the ball was about to go out, but Springer managed to flick the ball in with his fingertips and regather after a bit of a juggle. The Southland defence was left stunned in awe as he dashed to the tryline.
