Split-Screen Zombie Survival Game ‘7 Days to Die’ Gets a Release Date
It’s about damn time!
To everyone’s dissatisfaction, local co-op games have become a neglected focus in the gaming industry, but The Fun Pimps’ upcoming zombie shooter, 7 Days to Die, is embracing it fully.
7 Days to Die is an open-world survival game which blends FPS, survival horror, tower defence and RPG, will release for Xbox One and PS4 via digital stores on 28 June, with a retail edition hitting a few days later on 1 July, but best of all – it features split-screen.
Online multiplayer modes are also available, but the addition of split-screen “just makes sense” according to the developers. We agree.
Pre-ordering the game will also give players access to five exclusive character skins from The Walking Dead, including Michonne and Lee Everett.
7 Days to Die is currently available for Windows, Mac OS X, and SteamOS and Linux in Early Access on the Steam platform.
