Asus’ gaming division, Republic of Gamers (ROG), has announced the arrival of the 2025 ROG G700 gaming desktop in South Africa, and it packs some serious punch and a fitting price-tag.

Featuring cutting-edge silicon from Intel, AMD, and Nvidia, this desktop is designed completely in-house using only ASUS and ROG components, thoroughly tested and validated in-house to offer gamers incredible performance and reliability. Using standard components and a tool-less chassis, the G700 makes future upgrades and maintenance a dream. High-efficiency airflow and liquid-cooling options keep the high-performance parts operating at their peak, and bold ROG flourishes make the G700 a perfect fit with any battlestation.

Specs

The ROG G700 features either up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 285K or up to an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor, both capable of buttery-smooth framerates in the latest games. Backing up that CPU power, the G700 comes equipped with up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 32GB GDDR7, offering access to the latest software technology like DLSS 3.5 and Frame Generation for higher framerates and visual fidelity.

The G700 also includes up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 2TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD can accommodate even the largest of game libraries, while booting and loading games in mere seconds. The G700 supports PCIe Gen 5 storage for gamers who want to upgrade their long-term storage down the road.

The G700 is built exclusively from ROG and ASUS components, with a carefully crafted design and thorough quality testing that highlights ROG’s dedication to performance and reliability.

Hyper-efficient cooling

The G700 comes equipped right out of the box with four high-performance 120mm case fans, providing ample airflow for both air and water-cooled configurations of the machine. Air-cooled models feature a tower air cooler for the CPU, while liquid-cooled variants come equipped with a 240mm AIO, offering the lowest possible CPU temperatures and fan noise. With three front intake fans and a rear exhaust, the G700 offers a simple yet optimised airflow path. All versions of the G700 also feature 3 dust filters, all of which are simple to remove and clean to keep the machine breathing easier.

Tool-less entry

With the use of standard-sized components, including the motherboard, power supply, and case fans, the G700 is simple to upgrade and tinker with well into the future. Completely tool-less access to the side panels allows even new users to easily open the machine for easy cleaning and component swaps.

Unique touches across the machine show the G700’s ROG spirit, from strategically placed RGB with Aura Sync support, to the front I/O headers.

Availability & Pricing

ASUS ROG G700 will be available from R79,999 on ASUS Eshop, Amazon and Computer Mania.
