Have you ever wondered what would happen if something that sounded too good to be true actually turned out to be real?
Ahh April Fool’s, the 1st of May – the day that everyone makes up ridiculous jokes and we have to pretend that they’re funny.
Many people get a kick out of fooling or pranking their fellow-man, and as a result we all try remain as skeptical as possible.That said, there’s a time to be gullible – it can pay off handomsly.
That’s what happened in New Zealand, where BMW ran an “April Fool’s Day special” ad in the local paper offering a free car to someone who came into the store and asked for Tom. Of course, you’d think it was a joke, but BMW actually wanted to reward those who took a risk.
And someone did.
