You Can Now Get a Lego FIFA World Cup Trophy, But It’ll Cost You
Lego and FIFA join forces for a rare new building set.
Lego and FIFA have joined forces ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, giving Lego fans the opportunity to pick up some pretty football-tastic sets this season. One of these is the iconic World Cup trophy, which you can build and keep in your own home.
The new World Cup trophy set is part of Lego’s new collaboration with the football association, with other products, such as a soccer ball, will be available.

The trophy set itself is an official 1:1 detailed replica of world football’s ultimate prize, made of 2,842 LEGO pieces. Inside the set, there is the 2026 World Cup logo as well as an exclusive branded minifigure holding a mini–FIFA World Cup trophy toy, allowing all fans to imagine themselves as winners. A printed plaque underneath the base lists all the winning teams of the World Cup trophy since 1974, adding a collectible and historical aspect to the set.
The trophy also uses two different gold elements – drum-lacquered bricks and moulded gold pieces. This is the first time this many gold-coloured pieces have been used in a LEGO set.
Roberto Carlos, who won the FIFA World Cup for Brazil in 2002, said: “This isn’t just about building a trophy; it’s about sharing the love of football with family and friends.”

Kick-off your creativity with the LEGO Editions Football Ball (43019) building set that contains 1,498 pieces packed with awesome details. It lets fans create an almost 1:1 LEGO soccer collectible based on the size 5 ball used in official football games. The collectible set includes LEGO Technic elements to achieve a rounded shape, and the outside of the ball features 6 stylish deco discs, while inside there’s an exciting mini stadium celebration scene waiting to be discovered.
New to the South African market: The Lego Editions FIFA World Cup Official Trophy, along with the Lego Soccer Ball, are available in late March for R3,599.
