The Biggest Game Reveals You May Have Missed from Playstation’s Show
Check out all the big reveals and gameplay trailers from last night’s Playstation showcase.
Playstation’s February State of Play show provided a platform for studios working on big Playstation releases to show off their upcoming projects, and we were delivered quite a few surprises. Here are the biggest game reveals and everything you may have missed out on:
God of War Trilogy Remake
Rumoured for a while, but now confirmed. Sony is remaking the first three God of War games, with original voice actor TC Carson returning.
God of War: Sons of Sparta
Another surprise was the announcement of Sons of Sparta, a new sidescrolling action game acting as a prequel to the original God of War games, where you play as a young Kratos as he learns the ropes of becoming a Spartan warrior.
John Wick game
While John Wick Hex did come out a few years back, it’s been somewhat of an enigma that we haven’t had a fully-fledged John Wick action game as of yet. Well, Saber is working on a game where you take on the role of Keanu Reeves’ beloved assassin character in a no-holds-barred beat-and-shoot-’em-up adventure.
Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol 2.
Since the first remastered batch of Metal Gear Solid games hit current consoles with the Master Collection Vol. 1, fans have been clamouring for Metal Gear Solid 4 to make its appearance and break free from its coffin on the PS3. Well, it’s coming. Vol. 2 features the fourth mainline entry in the franchise, along with Peace Walker and Ghost Babel.
Silent Hill: Townfall
With the Silent Hill 2 remake and Silent Hill F, Konami’s horror franchise is on a good run, and another new entry is set to spice things up even more. In Silent Hill: Townfall, Simon Ordell is called back to the island of St. Amelia to ‘put things right’, encountering a town lying quiet beneath a heavy fog, seemingly abandoned but not at rest.
