February is here, and with it comes some of the most highly anticipated releases of the year, including a long-awaited sneaky sequel, along with a horror veteran making its return. Here are our picks for the games to play in February 2026:
Nioh
Release date: 3 February 2026 (PS5 | PC)

The Nioh series has built quite a fan-following, and in the third game in the dark samurai action RPG series, players will need to use both Samurai and Ninja combat styles in their battles against formidable yokai as you make your way through the dangerous fantasy world.
Ride 6
Release date: 12 February 2026 (PS5 | Xbox Series X/S | PC)

The Ride series has provided one of the best two-wheel racing sims in recent entries, and the sixth instalment brings some new changes, including over 250 bikes to try, along with a new off-road racing segment, introducing dirt bikes into the fray.
Reanimal
Release date: 12 February 2026 (PS5 | Xbox Series X/S | Switch 2 | PC)

The original creators of the Little Nightmares games have returned to take you on a more terrifying journey than ever before. In this co-op horror adventure game, you play as a brother and sister who go through hell to rescue their missing friends. Exploring by boat and on land, you must use your wits to survive, work together to escape the hellish island, and the dark secret that haunts you.
Styx: Blades of Greed
Release date: 19 February 2026 (PS5 | Xbox Series X/S | PC)

Fans of stealth will have a soft spot for the cheeky action-adventure franchise, Styx. The latest entry sees you take control of the cunning goblin to steal Quartz, the most precious – and dangerous – resource in a world on the brink of war between elves, humans and orcs. This time, there’s more freedom and creativity with how you move around levels, with some new tools and powers to exploit too.
Resident Evil: Requiem
Release date: 27 February 2026 (PS5 | Xbox Series X/S | Switch 2 | PC)

The ninth mainline entry into the Resident Evil series aims to appease fans of pure horror and survival-action with two playable protagonists, fan-favourite Leon Kennedy and Grace Ashcroft as they hunt for answers in a post-nuclear Raccoon City. It looks stunning, there are some grotesque enemies to gawk at, and we’re sure there’ll be some surprises in store too.
