Sand Land

Release date: 26 April 2024 (PS5 | Xbox Series X/S | PS4 | PC)

Sand Land is an open-world action RPG where you play as Beelzebub, a Fiend Prince, based on the characters and world created by Dragon Ball Z pioneer Akira Toriyama. There is a great mix of on-foot gameplay, vehicle building and combat, and exploration, and players will have to use their tact and imagination to develop tanks and other machines that will help them navigate the vast world. Sand Land could be a serious sleeper-hit this year.

Stellar Blade

Release date: 26 April 2024 (PS5)

Stellar Blade is a fast, stylish, and slick action-adventure game developed by Shift Up and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, following a character named Eve who is tasked with fighting the NA:Tives, an alien race who has taken over Earth and forced humanity to flee. Running on the Unreal Engine 4 with some fantastic art direction, Stellar Blade looks gorgeous.

TopSpin 2K25

Release date: 26 April 2024 (PS5 | Xbox Series X/S | PS4 | PC)

Tennis fans will be ecstatic that the TopSpin franchise is back with TopSpin 2K25, featuring tennis legends Roger Federer, Serena Williams, and a cast of other playable pros, competitive single-player and multiplayer modes. You can travel the world as an up-and-coming pro, go toe-to-toe with the biggest names in tennis, and take Centre Court at Wimbledon, Roland-Garros, the US Open, and the Australian Open as you strive to become a Grand Slam Champion in 2K’s well-executed career mode.

Tales of Kenzera: Zau

Release date: 26 April 2024 (PS5 | Xbox Series X/S | Switch | PC)

Tales of Kenzera: Zau is an interesting-looking sidescrolling Metroidvania-inspired game from Surgent Studios. The colourful game is set in a mystical African world and tasks you with overcoming tricky platforming sections, jumping into some slick combat, and solving environmental puzzles. If you enjoyed the recent Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, you should check this out.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants

Release date: 23 April 2024 (PS5 | Xbox Series X/S | PS4 | Xbox One | Switch | PC)

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Wrath of the Mutants, a game based on the hit Nickelodeon TV show and hit physical arcades back in 2017, is arriving on consoles and PC this April. Developed by Cradle Games and Raw Thrills, it includes the voice actors from the show (Seth Green, Sean Astin, Rob Paulsen, Greg Cipes) reprising their roles as well as four-player local co-op.
