Sonny Bill Williams may have had a slow start with his return to rugby league, but Williams is now making his mark for the Sydney Roosters.
The Roosters took on the Bulldogs in Round 6 of the NRL, managing to secure a convincing 38-0 win over the Canterbury side.
22,552 fans were on hand at Allianz Stadium, where they were treated to a double from Sonny Bill Williams.
“It started a bit slow tonight. We were working out whether we were going to do it. I think we really built to it,” said Williams. “It’s always good to get a couple of tries. But for me I was pleased with handling my one percenters and my core roles”.
SBW also contributed to another try, throwing a great cut-out pass out wide for Roger Tuivasa-Sheck to gather and race away.
