German football hasn’t half produced its fair share of free-kick tricks lately. First Thomas Müller’s unusual trip at the World Cup in Brazil, then Xabi Alonso’s shot under the wall for Bayern against Bremen, not to mention Heung-Min Son’s goal from Leverkusen’s brilliant free-kick routine in the Champions League. And now FSV Frankfurt of Bundesliga 2 have provided us with another one.
The pinball routine of Vincenzo Grifo, Hanno Balitsch and Odise Roshi wasn’t just great to watch, but it also ensured a 1-0 win for FSV against VfR Aalen.
