The Lions got their Super Rugby campaign off to a winning start against the Sharks in Johannesburg this past weekend, and the 2017 finalists unleashed some new players against their coastal counterparts, one of which being Aphiwe Dyantyi.
The 23-year-old winger made a great impression for the Joburg side, having some solid moments in defence and showed his attacking prowess every time he touched the ball.
He was able to bag his first try too, and it was one to remember. After getting a quick pass from Lions captain Warren Whitely, Dyantyi showed his devastating pace and quick-thinking to kick ahead to beat some eager defenders.
