Following the narrow loss to the Wallabies at Twickenham over the weekend, the Barbarians next objective was a historic match with Leicester Tigers at Welford Road on Tuesday.
The match was part of the Barbarians 125th anniversary celebrations, and the star-studded side, comprising of the likes of Juan de Jongh, Francis Saili, Steven Luatua, Jacques Botes, Marnitz Boshoff, Nick Cummins, and Frank Halai, recorded a 59-26 victory.
This particular Barbarians side are really carrying the Baabaas philosophy well, as shown in their positive performance, evident enjoyment and selfless ways.
Springbok centre Juan de Jongh managed to score two tries, and a nice gesture was shown by the Stormers star when instead of scoring his hatrick., handed the ball over the line to Jacques Botes on his last professional rugby game.
