All Blacks great Ma’a Nonu may miss the French Top 14 final after suffering a sickening head injury in the semis.
Toulon beat Montpellier 27-18 in the semifinal on Saturday to set up the final showdown with Dan Carter’s Racing 92 at the Nou Camp in Barcelona this weekend.
Nonu scored a try after 43 minutes, but his influence in the game was brutally cut short in the 64th minute when he clashed with former All Black Anthony Tuitavake, who won six international caps in 2008.
Nonu was attempting to tackle the Montpellier centre when the pair collided awkwardly with the 34-year-old Toulon star coming off second best.
