Without question, the football match of the weekend was Tottenham’s visit to Anfield to face-off against Liverpool. It was predicted that it would be a tight contest between evenly matched teams, and it turned out to be just that.
While Liverpool looked the more comfortable, Tottenham proved to be a fair match, with Victor Wanyama ended up scoring a peerless equaliser in the 80th minute that initiated the Spurs comeback.

Here’s another angle:

It looked near impossible to find a gap between a mess of bodies in the box, but Wanyama’s sweetly -truck half-volley blitzed a straight line straight into the top corner. Liverpool’s keepers haven’t been covering themselves in glory this season, and Karius will be disappointed with his weak punch that set up the shot.
Spurs are currently outside the top 4 – but with a comfortable win against Manchester United and a good away draw against Liverpool subsequently can they force their way into the Champion’s League spots?
