We take a look at the biggest and best sporting moments from this past weekend.

Some tight encounters, brilliant individual performances, and dramatic moments made for an incredibly entertaining weekend of sport. But with so many great highlights, we decided to rank out top 5; so without further ado, here are our picks of the best sporting moments from the past weekend:

Habana’s fine line

Springbok winger Bryan Habana scored South Africa’s opening try against the All Blacks in Christchurch, running a fantastic line off a Warren Whitely pass to break the NZ line untouched and score his 66th Test try.

Thurston’s outrageous pass

Cowboys playmaker Jonathan Thurston pulled off a spectacular pass to Matt Morgan in the NRL playoff match against the Brisbane Broncos. Classy stuff.

Henderson’s cracker

Liverpool’s Jordan Henderson scored an absolute pearler for his side against Chelsea, when he picked out the top-right corner from a good way out.

Savea’s score

Ardie Savea, on his first start for the All Blacks, finished off a fantastic try orchestrated by scrumhalf Aaron Smith.

Cordero’s carving run

Argentina winger Santiago Cordero scored a brilliant try against the Wallabies, using his speed and footwork down the left wing to beat three defenders and get over the tryline.
