Lions flyhalf Elton Jantjies’ man of the match performance in the Super Rugby semi-final included a brilliant break from his own half, before unleashing Cornal Skosan to score in the corner.

It was down to a golden point playoff in the NRL match between the Warriors and Panthers, and Warriors playmaker Shaun Johnson had no chance to get off a drop kick to win the game, so he decided to slice through the Panthers with some magical footwork.

Beauden Barrett was the star of the show as the Hurricanes beat the Chiefs 25-9 in Wellington to reach their second consecutive Super Rugby final. The New Zealand flyhalf regathered his own counter-attacking chip kick to set up Willis Halaholo’s seventh-minute try,
Macha sinks the Pirates
The Kaizer Chiefs were dominant against the Orlando Pirates with a 2-0 win in Soweto. Lewis Macha’s goal from a William Twala cross was undoubedly the goal of the match.
