Prepare for some serious nostalgia, as the trailer for the long-awaited Space Jam sequel, Space Jam: A New Legacy, has been released.
Featuring LeBron James in the role of the lead, the follow-up follows a somewhat similar plot as the 1996 original which starred Michael Jordan. James needs to help the Tune Squad win an intergalactic basketball game in order to get his son back. It’s all pretty ridiculous, but anyone who’s familiar with the original will know that it undoubtedly results in some fun live-action-CGI hybrid moments and a ground soundtrack to boot.
The film obviously also features numerous Looney Tunes characters such as Bugs Bunny, Sylvester, and Foghorn Leghorn (all of whom are voiced by Jeff Bergman), as well as Daffy Duck and Marvin the Martian (both voiced by Eric Bauza), Lola Bunny (voiced by Zendaya), and others.
