Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has really been tipping his toes into the interesting side of the film world since his time as the famed wizard. From Swiss Army Man to Jungle, Radcliffe has ben exploring some quirky roles, and his latest film, Guns Akimbo, sees him having handguns stuck to his hands and thrown into a real-life death battle.
Radcliffe plays a nerdy video game developer who is a little too fond of stirring things up on the internet with his caustic, prodding, and antagonising comments. One night, he makes the mistake of drunkenly dropping an inflammatory barb on a broadcast of Skizm, an illegal death-match fight club streamed live to the public. In response, Riktor (Ned Dennehy), the maniacal mastermind behind the channel, decides to force Miles’ hand (or hands, as it were) and have him join the “fun.”
The film also stars Ready or Not‘s Samara Weaving and Natasha Liu Bordizzo.
Guns Akimbo releases on 5 March 2020. Check out the trailer above.
