While the movie is only scheduled for a March 2016 release date, news has landed that suggests the first trailer for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice is closer than you may think.
We now learn that the first teaser for the superhero crossover film will be with us this side of Christmas, which is surprising given that the film is still being wrapped up by Zack Snyder. However, Batman On Film is reporting that the first teaser trailer is “complete and ready to go”.
Furthermore, the site reports that “the teaser will be revealed this fall along with a November or December film release”. If that’s the case, then the biggest Warner Bros title between now and Christmas is The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies. That looks the most likely candidate.
The teaser, too, is reported to be “Batman heavy”, so expect a lot of Ben Affleck in his Batsuit, but we’re pretty sure Superman will make his appearance in it in some capacity.
Affleck, speaking with America’s Today Show, also recently addressed the scepticism over his casting as the Dark Knight.
In related superhero movie news, Marvel last week dropped the first trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron, which has got the fans pretty stoked, to say the least.
