Fitness trackers and training aids have become necessities for those taking their running seriously, but brands are starting to incorporate those into their products to make the stat-tracking process far more seamless.
Under Armour is one of those brands doing exactly that, launching their new connected fitness shoe in the form of the Under Armour HOVR Infinite.
What sets it apart from the crowd? The HOVR Infinite features a Bluetooth tracking device in the right shoe, sending real-time data to the user’s MapMyRun companion app to reveal:
- Stride Length
- Lifetime Distance
- Shoe Wear
- Personal Gait Coaching
One of the most intriguing aspects is the gait monitoring and coaching, because it can not only help with improving performance, but also be used to identify imbalances in strides that could be reducing performance or making injury more likely.
The Under Armour HOVR Infinite retails for R2, 499 and is available from the Under Armour stores nationwide.
