Top 6 Deadliest Killers In Gaming

Top 6 Deadliest Killers 33

Which video game heroes cause enemies and opponents to cower in fear?

The world of video games is full of some pretty admirable heroes and heroines, but unfortunately some of them have to do some dirty work in order to achieve their goals. From silent assassinations to bloody beatdowns, these following characters are the best at what they do, even if what they do is not that nice.

6. Raiden (Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance)

Metal Gear Solid 2 introduced as to Raiden – a young hero who, while interesting, came across as a bit of a step backwards compared to playing as Snake. He returned in Metal Gear Solid 4 as a cyborg ninja (we were sold), and got his chance to show what he could do in Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Wielding a sword which resonates at high-frequency, Raiden is able to make sushi out of anything (and we mean anything). His incredible athleticism and agility add to his deadliness, as he is able to shred and dismember enemies like a blood-filled ballet. Raiden is easiily one of the most brutal and dangerous killers in gaming.

5. Ezio Auditore (Assassin’s Creed II)

The Assassin’s Creed series is filled with some great assassins, but which righteous killer is the best? We had to go with Ezio Auditore – the brash and charming Italian assassin from the second game stands tall as the most efficient, due to his head-on approach and ability to take out some pretty high-prority targets. His proficency with weapons and hand-to-hand combat skills make him a feared adversary for the ancient Templars, and even Leonardo da Vinci wants to hang out with him, and that says a lot.

4. Corvo Attano (Dishonored)

Dishonored’s Corvo goes through an interesting transformation to become of the deadliest assassins in gaming. After swearing to protect the empress of isles and then being framed for her murder, he transforms himself from a bodyguard into a bloodthirsty killer out for revenge. His arsenal consists of some stabby weapons, but he also has some supernatural abilities, such as the power to slowdown time and possess his enemies.

3. Kratos (God of War)

The Ghost of Sparta himself has proven to be one of the most deadly characters in gaming – he’s literally killed gods, people! Kratos is one badass warrior, and while his pure rage and head-on approach has gotten him into trouble on occasions, it’s also his greatest attribute, as his perseveringly brutal approach has given him the upper-hand in all his major encounters with mythical beasts, skyscraper-sized titans, and treacherous gods. Kratos’ ‘pull every limb off your body’ fighting-style is something that isn’t easily countered, and we wouldn’t like to go toe-to-toe with the angry demi-god.

2. Sub-Zero (Mortal Kombat)

The Sub-Zero fans know today is a relative good guy, but the cold-powered warrior who starred in the first Mortal Kombat was his older brother, a brutal assassin who ripped out people’s spines and killed without hesitation or remorse. His bloodthirsty ways and ability to freeze opponents solid enabled him to punch his way into the hearts of gamers everywhere.

1. Agent 47 (Hitman series)

You could be locked in an impenetrable air-tight chamber of steel, and Agent 47 will find a way to take you out. The baldheaded, barcoded assassin has ruthless efficiency and pinpoint accuracy – he was cloned and reared as the ultimate assassin after all – and his brutality also knows no bounds. Your survival time against Agent 47 is non-existent, because you’re dead before you even know he’s coming for you.
