The weekend delivered some big moments in the form of some great goals, incredible hits, and spectacular tries, and we’ve wrapped up the five best right here:

Sam Burgess’ hit on Ian Madigan – England centre slammin’ Sam Burgess has become known as quite the defensive enforcer since making his debut, and the 116kg former league star showed that by smashing Irish replacement flyhalf Ian Madigan at the final pre-World Cup clash at Twickenham.


Waikato’s brilliant length-of-the-field try – Anton Lienert-Brown finishes off a magnificent Waikato team try vs. Auckland in Round 4 in the ITM Cup.


Anthony Watson’s unbelievable leap – England winger Anthony Watson out-jumped Irish fullback Simon Zebo to pluck a cross-kick from Owen Farrell to score one of the England’s tries in their 21-13 win.


Hayne brings the pain – Former rugby league star Jarryd Hayne continued to show why rugby players are so tough with another great performance in the NFL.


Dempsey and Martins strike back – Seattle Sounders FC forwards Obafemi Martins and Clint Dempsey reunited in a big way vs Toronto FC, as each forward netted a goal and helped set up the other on Saturday night.
