Cristiano Ronaldo’s hat-trick – It seems like a Ronaldo hat-trick is becoming a regular occurance over the weekend, and the Portuguese star scored another three goals in just 34 minutes during a goal-heavy start to the match.

James O’Connor’s contender for worst kick of the year – It wasn’t the best day for the Reds during their Super Rugby clash with the Sharks, and James O’Connor’s horrendous kick that resulted in a try summed up their performance as a whole.

Super finish in Super League match – Gene Ormsby flew in at the corner from another Currie pass to complete his hat-trick with a magnificent acrobatic effort eight minutes from time.

Drogba’s epic farewell from Chelsea – Chelsea striker Didier Drogba was carried off the pitch by his teammates after announcing he will leave the club for a second time.

Burger’s massive hit on Pisi – During Saracens 29-24 victory over Northampton Saints in the Aviva Premiership Semi-Final, Jacque Burger landed a huge hit on George Pisi.

It was sad to see Drogba go but his team mates helped him off the field in a classy fashion. The game itself was a great way to end the season. Chelsea were playing a free football – much how they started the season.
