3 Movies You Can Watch This Weekend

Which big-screen outing should you have your eye on this week? MenStuff gives you the low-down on what to venture out to the cinemas for.

The weekend is fast approaching, people, and before you commit to anything, you should check out the main attractions at your local cinema as there are some crackers releasing this Friday.

For the thrill-seeker:

The Imitation Game

Benedict Cumberbatch leads this all-star film which sees him play the admirable Alan Turing, who was credited with cracking the supposedly unbreakable codes of Germany’s World War II-era Enigma machine.

An intense and haunting portrayal of a brilliant, complicated genius, who under nail-biting pressure, helped to shorten the war and, in turn, save thousands of lives.

The hair-raiser for horror fans:

The Pyramid

The Pyramid returns some claustrophobic horror this weekend, as a group of U.S. archaeologists get more than they bargained for when they discover a lost pyramid unlike any other in the Egyptian desert.

As they unlock the horrific secrets buried within, they realise that they aren’t just trapped; they are being hunted by something inside.

A little something for the drama-lover:

The Humbling

An aged and addled actor has his world turned upside down after he embarks upon an affair with a lesbian, in this acidulous adaptation of the Philip Roth novel.

The film stars Al Pacino, Greta Gerwig, and Kyra Sedgwick.

Which movie are you most looking forward to seeing this weekend?
