A star-studded Reds line-up has been announced ahead of the Super Rugby warm-up match against the Blues in Toowoomba, Australia.
The Queensland side features Quade Cooper, who is currently preparing for his undercard bout before Sonny Bill Williams’ boxing match against South African Francois Botha.
Also included in the backline set-up is Faingaa, Tapuai, Morahan, Ioane and Harris.
In the forwards, 36-year old Radike Samo makes his return to the side, along with Eddie Quirk and newcomer Nigel Ah Wong filling in on the flanks.
“There is always a delicate balance in choosing a trial team and it’s important we get our selections right. The inclusion of so many Wallabies is about being sure we are ready to play the Brumbies in Round One,” said Reds coach Ewen McKenzie.
“All our guys have been putting in a tremendous amount of hard work during the preseason and you can really sense their excitement to now go out and play. There is plenty to look forward to in Toowoomba on Saturday night,” he added.
